Lemon's 45-point game gives him (Second Stage) Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

32-year old American swingman Stedmon Lemon (198-F/G-1992) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's best team Tabiat and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 1 (Second Stage).
He had the game-high 45 points adding six rebounds and eight assists for Tabiat in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Qadsia (#2, 4-3) with 27-point margin 112-85. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Tabiat to take over top position in the West Asia Super League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier in Second Stage. Tabiat has a very solid 6-3 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. In the team's last game Lemon had a remarkable 81.3% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He turned to be Tabiat's top player in his first season with the team.

Second best performed player last round was Sina Vahedi (185-PG-2001, agency: Diamond Sports). He is a guard in his first season at Tabiat. In the last game Vahedi recorded an impressive double-double of 31 points and 10 assists. Of course together with Lemon he helped Tabiat with another comfortable win outscoring Qadsia (4-3) 112-85. The Second Stage is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Vahedi is a newcomer at Tabiat and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.7ppg (#7). His other stats are also decent: 4.1rpg and 5.8apg.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Zach Lofton (193-G-1992, agency: Slash Sports) of league's second-best Sagesse - Al Hekmeh Beirut. Lofton got into 30-points club by scoring 31 points in the last round. He went also for five rebounds and six assists. He was a key player of Sagesse, leading his team to a 99-69 easy win against #3 ranked Al Ittihad in a game of the week. The chances of Sagesse ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 5 games, recording just four victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Lofton could help Sagesse to bring them higher in the standings. Lofton has a great season in West Asia Super League. After only 9 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.4ppg (5th best) and assists with 6.4apg (4th best).
